How do we buy it?
Defense Catalyst is a commercial service under FAR Part 12, awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. Small pilot efforts fit within simplified acquisition procedures. Larger procurements can be executed as standard firm-fixed-price awards. We can provide a quote, capability statement, and market research documentation upon request.
Who funds it?
A unit can fund it directly, or a command can fund it centrally and provision access down to its squadrons.
Is it safe for our environment?
Yes. We hold a CMMC Level 2 self-assessment with our score posted in SPRS, and the platform is built to NIST SP 800-171. We support cloud-hosted and on-premise air-gapped deployment depending on your data handling requirements.
Does it stay current with the FAR Overhaul?
Yes. Scenarios update as the FAR Overhaul and policy change, so your people train against today's rules.
